September 2017 Driver of the Month

Adam Kryger is Dillon Transportation’s September 2017 Driver of the Month.

Adam started with us in December 2011 as a Solo OTR driver out of the Kingman, AZ terminal. Adam always does a great job for us. He is dependable & cares about doing his job safely & responsibly. He is a true professional!

Get to know Adam…

Q: Tell us about yourself.

A: –  I grew up & went to school in San Diego, CA. I moved to Lake Havasu, AZ in 1993 & moved to Kingman, AZ in 1997, where I started my career as a professional truck driver. I got tired of the desert, so I moved to Springfield, MO where I was at for 12 years. The four seasons & especially the tornadoes did me in, so I returned to Kingman in 2011, which is when I got the job at Dillon. I have 2 million miles under my belt, accident free. I’m a pretty simple guy. I take my dog Heidi with me on the truck.  My favorite foods if I had to name 2 would be Chinese & Mexican. I enjoy being so close to Vegas, to be able to have the best restaurants, & essentially the world at my feet.

Q: What do you like to do during your home time?

A: – I enjoy going to Vegas, attending concerts, going out to dinner. I like to ride my motorcycle, go on the river on the weekends, & sometimes I just want to stay at home and rest. I’m a pretty mellow kind of guy.

Q: What do you like about Dillon Transportation & the reason you have stayed for so many years?

A: – I really like that I’m home every weekend & that I have put in the work here at Dillon to get the run that I have. Everyone at Dillon is really friendly & they take care of their equipment. I like the predictability & stability that I have here at Dillon. I have a predictable pay check coming in each week. Bottom line is that I’m not going anywhere.
